The Piarist Ball Committee welcomes visitors to our website!
Last year’s ball was the 59th Piarist Ball held at the University Club. The fabulous Laura Angyal Jazz Quartet provided a very enjoyable background for the amazing cocktail hour. At 7:00 PM the soft semi classical piano music of our beloved Laszlo Fornvald was waiting for our dinner guests in the main ballroom where the University Club’s master chef’s magnificent creations satisfied the appetite of our guests. At 9:00 PM the renowned Lester Lanin Orchestra took the stage and the ceremonious introduction of our beautiful debutantes opened the ball. During the one 20 minute orchestra break, Tunde Krasznai entertained us with a mini classical piano concert of Chopin, Liszt, Beethoven and Kodaly to the standing ovation of the guests. The uninterrupted ballroom music continued until 1:00 AM.
